My Emergency Method

My seizures begin with a bone chilling cold feeling in my forearm and fingers. Then the my head feels boxed in. I make a mad dash to the nearest family member or friend. I then put something soft in my hand to keep my hand from cramping up to hard and bend my leg before the seizure can. After all the physical work, I focus on being calm, then do steady, deep breathing. For me this seems to prolong the time between the warning feeling and the seizure. The deep breathing calms me and releases my nerves and worries. Then they happen, thankfully the now last 10 to 20 seconds. Afterwords I don’t think about it, I just go with what I got, my faith.
